The Kenya Private Schools Association
has steadily grown since its inception
in the year 1994. In April 2016, I
joined the top management of the
association as the National Secretary
taking over from Madam Mutheu
Kasanga who was elected to chair the
association. There is no doubt that the
association has made major strides in
recent years driven by our collective
desire to deliver quality education to
all. KPSA plays a key role in education
matters, a fact that has come to be
appreciated by the government and
other key stakeholders as well.
During our tenure, I witnessed a lot
of dedication and passion among our
members as we interacted in various
meetings held across the country. Our
partnership with financial institutions
and other investors have empowered
our schools to expand their facilities.
As we mark 27 years of excellence,
Private schools in Kenya have since
witnessed increased enrolment of
learners thus decongesting public
schools.
We come from a culture where this
is considered not as a victory of an
individual. It is our victory, belonging
to all of us together, because I believe
it is God’s will that we were able to
successfully achieve our vision of
