Message From National Treasurer
For a long time, I quietly concentrated on growing our
school, Mudasa Academy, until 2018, when the wind of
change started blowing in our association, The Kenya
Private Schools Association (KPSA). Many members of
our association prevailed upon me to vie for the National
Treasurer’s position, which was falling vacant. I took up
the mantle to run, and I was elected in April 2018.
Time has since moved very fast. The first year, 2018,
was time to learn the deeper KPSA operations. The
entire secretariat was very helpful, and all the members
of the National Executive Committee (NEC) were very
supportive. I took over the treasury office when our
association, like many other organisations, was faced
with funding challenges.
The number of sponsors who supported
our activities had significantly
reduced, and the money we
collected from subscriptions
could not run all our affairs.
Therefore, NEC had to
think of alternative ways of
funding our association.
Eventually, the
company, Kenya
Private Schools
Limited (KPSL),
was born.
